   Multiplayer Games are those which are played over the internet with other players from all around the world. The main backbone of multiplayer games is the internet. Players connect with the help of the internet with each other and this connection is typically supported by a server. These types of games are usually popular because of their ability to expand the user experience from playing against the computer or a second player at home to hundreds of other players online. An example of online multiplayer pc game would be Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games (MMORPGs) where players create a character, explore worlds and complete quests along with thousands and sometimes even millions of other players like in World of Warcraft. Others can be First Person Shooters (FPS) where users shoot at each other within a certain limit of round time like in Counter Strike.
