Sim houses and neighborhoods will be entirely in one continuous map, and the developers state that "What you do outside your home now matters as much as what you do within." The game includes an optional feature called 'story progression', which allows all Sims in the neighborhood apart from those the player is currently controlling to autonomously continue as if the player was controlling them, i.e. grow up, get married, get jobs and promotions, have kids, and so forth. Unlike previous Sims games, features may be toggled on or off to the user's preference; for instance, a player may toggle off aging/death if they do not want that feature to be enabled

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Extract files with Winrar or 7-Zip
2. Double click setup_bat
3. Play the game
After installing the game, there should be an icon of Sims 3 located in your desktop. Double click it and if it doesn't work go to the game folder located in The Sims 3 - Game - Bin - and double click "TS3". It should open up the game. The launcher in the game directory can also run the game. To change the game setting of the game, you can change it in game meaning you can change it while playing...

If sims 3 is not working for you
try this process
when you extract sims 3 from .rar files
install it after that
open the folder named "The Sims 3"
look for regsetup
open it then copy everything inside it
after that make a new notepad file CTRL+N
paste everything then save it as
sims3.reg (case sensitive you can choose any name but its important to put .reg on it)
if you're using XP just open it it should say successful
for vista:
open run
type in reg edit
the press okay
then continue
click file and press import
look for the .reg that you made earlier
after you input it just press continue if something pops up
then. it should say successfully something!!
